AI lending platform for a major Australian bank
A platform that automates loan applications end to end, built by Ambush for one of Australia's largest banks.

Problem
Analysts spent most of their time reading loan documents by hand, and full automation was too risky when a wrong income figure goes straight into a credit decision.
My role
Core frontend engineer, embedded in US teams
AI
- AI and OCR extract fields from loan documents, with a confidence score per field
- Low-confidence fields are flagged for an analyst to approve or correct
- A chat answers analysts' questions using the loan documents as context
Result
I built the document pipeline with real-time states, the human validation screens, the credit outcome experience and the end-to-end test strategy. I argued for human review on low-confidence extractions and we shipped it.
